Kushibiki is a design inspired by a traditional plastering technique. By etching lines into the Kanazawa gold leaf—as if drawn with a comb—this process creates a unique sense of depth and softness.

Within the striped pattern, the natural wrinkles inherent to genuine gold leaf remain visible. Despite its simple design, the interplay of light and texture ensures there is always something new to discover every time you look at it.
