"Four seasons" by Masahiro Tsubota
There are not many hanging scrolls that mainly feature red. I want to use colors that are rarely used. I am thinking about flatness and how I can make a hanging scroll that allows the red color and paper to permeate and breathe.

About Masahiro Tsubota
Artist

In 1970, graduated from Osaka University of Arts, Department of Fine Arts. Currently a professor in the art department of Osaka University of Arts. Tsubota has held many solo and group exhibitions both domestically and internationally, including the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Modern Art and the Bradford International Print Biennale. Tsubota has received numerous awards including the Blue Mer Prize, the Himeji Cultural Prize, and the Krakow International Print Triennial Purchase Award. Also has many domestic and international museum collections.
