This elegant glass tray brings Hokusai’s celebrated work into daily life, perfect for holding stationery or accessories and allowing you to keep a masterpiece close at hand.

“Fine Wind, Clear Morning” (Gaifu Kaisei)

The term Gaifu refers to a gentle southerly wind. This masterpiece by Katsushika Hokusai, popularly known as "Red Fuji," depicts the phenomenon where Mount Fuji is dyed a deep crimson by the rays of the early morning sun. This rare sight typically occurs from late summer to early autumn.

The artwork features a magnificent color contrast between the mountain and the lush, green sea of trees at its base. Details such as the drifting cirrocumulus clouds and the lingering snow on the summit are characteristic of this specific season, capturing a fleeting moment in the ever-changing face of Mount Fuji.

“The Great Wave off Kanagawa” (Kanagawa-oki Nami Ura)

This iconic work depicts Mount Fuji as seen from off the coast of Honmoku in present-day Yokohama. Along with Fine Wind, Clear Morning and Storm Below the Summit, it is celebrated as one of Hokusai’s "Three Masterpieces" and is recognized worldwide as a preeminent example of Japanese Ukiyo-e art.

The composition—featuring a turbulent, surging sea, boats tossed by the waves, and the contrasting, serene presence of Mount Fuji—is a testament to Hokusai’s genius, continuing to captivate people across all eras and borders.
