The Fujin Raijin-zu (Wind and Thunder Gods) is an iconic masterpiece of Japanese art. Originally created as a pair of two-panel folding screens, this work depicts Fujin (the God of Wind) and Raijin (the God of Thunder)—personifications of natural phenomena—facing one another against a brilliant gold-leaf background. It was designated as a National Treasure in 1952.
These glass trays feature a background of Kanazawa gold leaf that radiates a luxurious brilliance. They provide a premier place for your stationery or jewelry, allowing you to enjoy world-class masterpieces in your daily life.
This set of two depicts the Wind God (Fujin) and the Thunder God (Raijin) as a matching pair. When placed side by side, they can be displayed like a grand, heroic folding screen. The set comes in a wooden box, making it an ideal gift for someone special.
